Cookie Policy
Last updated: 9 September 2026
This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used by the Halconia website, whose data controller is HALCONIA SOCIEDAD LIMITADA, in compliance with article 22(2) of the Spanish Information Society Services Act (LSSI-CE, Ley 34/2002), and with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser in order to remember technical information, preferences or usage measurements. This term also covers other local storage technologies with an equivalent purpose, such as browser web storage.
2. First-party and third-party cookies
Depending on who manages the domain from which the cookies are sent and who processes the information obtained, we distinguish between:
- First-party cookies: those sent from a domain managed by Halconia. They are used for the basic operation of the site and to remember your consent preferences.
- Third-party cookies: those sent from a domain managed by an external provider, which processes the information collected. On this site they come from Google (Google Analytics) and from CookieScript.
According to their purpose, the cookies used are classified as:
- Technical or necessary: essential for the site to work and to store your choice regarding cookies. They do not require consent.
- Analytics or measurement: they allow us to understand, in aggregated form, how the site is used so that we can improve it. They require your prior consent.
This site uses analytics only with your consent. Google Tag Manager is used to manage measurement tags. We do not use advertising, behavioural targeting or social media cookies.
3. Cookies we use
The following table lists the cookies that may be installed in your browser. The durations are those set by each provider and may vary if they change their configuration.
| Cookie | Owner | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google (third party) | Analytics. Distinguishes unique users by assigning a randomly generated identifier. | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Google (third party) | Analytics. Maintains the session state in Google Analytics 4. | 2 years |
| CookieScriptConsent | CookieScript (third party) | Technical. Stores and evidences your cookie consent preferences. | 1 year |
4. Lawful basis
- Technical or necessary cookies: they are exempt from the consent requirement under article 22(2) of the LSSI-CE, as they are strictly necessary in order to provide the service expressly requested. The processing of the associated data relies on Halconia's legitimate interest in keeping the site operational and secure and in evidencing the consent given (art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
- Analytics cookies: they are only installed if you give your prior, freely given, specific and informed consent through the consent panel (art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). They are not activated until you accept, and refusing them is as easy as accepting them.
Google Analytics may involve an international data transfer; the applicable safeguards are detailed in section 6 of our Privacy Policy.
5. How to withdraw or change your consent
You can accept, refuse or configure cookies from the consent panel shown when you access the site, and change your choice at any time by reopening that panel from the cookie settings link. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
You can also block or delete cookies already installed from your browser settings:
- Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and site data.
- Safari: Settings > Privacy > Manage website data.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions.
Please note that these settings are specific to each browser and device, so you will need to repeat them on each of the ones you use.
6. Consequences of refusing cookies
Refusing analytics cookies does not restrict access to any content or functionality of the site: you will be able to browse and contact us as normal. The only consequence is that we will not have statistical data about your visit, which reduces our ability to detect errors and improve the site. If you also block technical cookies from your browser, the consent panel may be shown again on every visit and some features may not behave correctly.
7. Changes to this policy
If we introduce new tools or purposes, we will update this policy and, where appropriate, request your consent again. We recommend that you review it periodically. For any questions about the use of cookies you can write to us at hola@halconia.es.
